I decided to Test a few new aspects in the new Unity 5 Personal Addition so I made a survival first person shooting game. The user is placed in an arena where zombies continue to spawn until the user has died. When the user has died, his/her “Kills” high score is saved.
As the rounds go on the zombie spawn rate increases and the zombie speed increases.
The Player is equip with:
- An semi-automatic rifle
- Grenades
- A jetpack
Before Unity 5 personal addition was released I used the Unity 4.6 Free addition so I wanted to see some of the new/updated features in Unity 5 Personal Addition such as:
- Updated Dynamic Shadows
- Updated Nav Mesh components
- Updated Shaders
- Updated Audio
